New website and forum!

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the new SMP website, http://www.smptheatre.co.uk!

The forum has been moved here and the old one will soon be shut down. You'll have to re-upload your avatar on this new forum, because I couldn't move them across (click on the "User Control Panel" above, then click profile, then click avatar). If you're having problems logging into this forum, select "forgot password" at the sign-in page and you'll get an email that will help you reset it.

All of the forum posts have been moved across apart from those posted in the last three weeks of September - those will be gone for ever.

The new website incorporates a state-of-the-art photo gallery, where multiple committee members can upload photos from SMP shows and events. The new website also includes a newsletter sign-up facility so that we can send out emails every couple of months notifying you of upcoming shows. Sorry if you received four emails yesterday from the forum tool; there was a blockage on the server and I kept getting error messages. Only two hours after I had click send four times (with tweaked settings each time) did the emails suddenly go out - sorry.

For the techies out there, the php mail() function died on smptheatre.co.uk's host yesterday!
