A warm welcome to our brand new community singing sessions led by Kate Sanders. This page gives you everything you need to know before signing up.
About the sessions
These sessions are designed for adults who want to enjoy singing in a relaxed and friendly space. You do not need any experience. You do not need to read music. You simply need to enjoy singing with others.
Our aim is to bring people together, build confidence and create a joyful, inclusive place where every voice is welcome.
What to expect
Six weeks of relaxed, feel good singing
A welcoming group of adults
No auditions or pressure
A mixture of warm ups, harmonies and songs
Refreshments provided each week
A friendly approach led by Kate, who has years of experience in musical direction and group singing
Who can join
Adults aged eighteen and over
Complete beginners to confident singers
Anyone who wants to sing for wellbeing, fun or connection

Dates: Monday 12 January to Monday 16 February 2026
Time: 8.00pm to 9.00pm
Venue: Lancaster Road URC, Enfield, EN2 0DH (Armfield Road)
*Cost: £15 for the full six week course
Capacity: Upto 20 people
Why this is important to us
As SMP works toward becoming a charity, we are expanding our community work. These sessions are part of our aim to bring creativity, confidence and connection to our local community in an inclusive and welcoming way.
*The fee simply helps cover our costs. This is a not for profit community programme.
